Looks like the Central University(CU) has taken a turn.
At the moment, there is an on-going serious rebranding of the hostels on campus.
There are three hostels on campus that are old girls, Pronto and I.C.G.C boy’s hostel.
However, CU has 8 halls. Now the various blocks in the various hostels have been changed to halls.
For the I.C.G.C BOYS HOSTEL which is now CU MALE HALLS
we have block A now CHANCELLOR HALL
BLOCK B as BILLY GRAHAM HALL
BLOCK C as INTEGRITY HALL
BLOCK D as JUSTICE HALL
For PRONTO HOSTEL which is now CU FEMALE HALLS ANNEX
We have BLOCK 1 as JOY OTABIL ANNEX 1
BLOCK 2 as FAITH HALL ANNEX 1
BLOCK 3 as JOY OTABIL HALL ANNEX 2
BLOCK 4 as FAITH HALL ANNEX 2
BLOCK 5 as KATHRYN KUHLMAN HALL ANNEX 1 & 2
BLOCK 6 as FREEDOM HALL ANNEX 1 & 2
So now the new turn is that it is compulsory for all the freshers to be in the campus hostel just like it is done in other schools but when you get to your second year you can either decide to reside on campus or not.
