Y’all, brainy smart young Ghanaians are out there making us proud and super happy.
All of you genusis are telling us that irrespective one’s background, anything is possible once you set your mind to achieve it.
Today, we are joining the United States Embassy in Ghana to congratulate Felicia Ansah for her brilliance and will to pursue far more greater things.
Felicia has won the University of California’s MBA Scholarship competition.
She and Aniedi Effiong (Nigeria) beat about 300 Ghanaians and Nigerians to win this MBA scholarship.
The competition, which was powered by TKC Africa and sponsored by the University of California, Riverside saw the applicants compete for a scholarship worth $120,000 (GHS 657,600).
Felicia holds a first degree in Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Coast Business School.
She qualified as a professional accountant at the age of 25 and is currently a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.
“I plan on becoming a Management Consultant. Once businesses continue to emerge, there would always be the need to manage their operations and returns. In this day where technology is trying to make robots take over human roles, they may never be able to deal with strategy development and operational improvement services. I want to get to the heights of helping businesses in areas they may not have the expertise for,” Felicia said in a TCK Africa profile post about her.
TKC Africa is a Ghanaian incorporated limited liability company (2010) that brings together over 30 years experience of business development, consulting and education from experiences in over four continents.
Among others, it runs the MBA Tour, which is a chance for prospective graduate students to get face to face with the graduate recruiters of global top MBA universities from around the world.
We are just happy for Felicia!!
