Kojo Cue undeniably is one of the best rappers in the Ghanaian industry right now.
He calls himself the young Daddy Lumba but he is a badass rapper!
He’s signed unto the BBnz music label and most of us immediately associate him with Lil Shaker mostly because the two have great music together including a whole joint album: Pen and Paper.
Yesterday, on Twitter, the rapper made a huge announcement.
He’s working on an album.
He posted a short video of different people encouraging him to make a studio album with the caption:
“Sometimes the journey takes longer than you expected it to, but the extra time helps make the story richer. It’s been 5 years and, I finally found the right thing to say to you. My last album changed my life, I’m hoping this album changes yours. #CueSeason has begun.”

5 years without an album from him is a long time and we cannot wait for this project!
For those who are familiar with the rapper, you would know that most of his body of work has been mixtapes and EPs and his last album was the joint album with Lil Shaker last year.
The rapper and his label mate Lil Shaker were on tour earlier this year with the legendary music icon, Lauryn Hill, opening for her at her concert.
So ermm…like the rapper said, it’s Cue Season!
