Mr Eazi in a tweet has revealed that Empawa Africa invested $50,000 in young dancehall act, J.Derobie
Mr Eazi’s Empawa Africa program which seeks to grow independent and emerging talented artists into global superstars discovered young talented musicians like J.Derobie and Joe Boy.
According to Mr Eazi, an amount of $50,000 was invested in emerging dancehall act, J.Derobie on an 80/20 split in his favour.
J.Derobie also got a betPawa Ghana endorsement deal and his own record label.
Mr Eazi also announced that J.Derobie is set to release his 2nd single soon.

J.Derobie, however, has also hinted at releasing his debut album soon.
Mr Eazi, last week announced the return of the Empawa Africa program.
For this year’s Empawa Africa program, 30 emerging artists will be selected and each of the selected artists will have their own mentors to help them with their music, branding, song selection.
