This year is the year of return for all those wanting to know more about their roots.
If Mohammed won’t come to the mountain the mountain will go to Mohammed. This is the case where one of our favourite bands the Fra!ternity Band is making the nation proud by having a Spanish tour.
They shared their experience with us and how receptive the crowd was.
They had the opportunity to play at a venue with an audience of 15,000 and that is what they would describe as the highest point of this tour even though all shows were excellent.
Response from the crowd was out of this world, they added.

During their Spain tour, they met with the Ghanaian ambassador to Spain, Her Excellency Ms Elizabeth Adjei.
During their visit, they thank her for the initiative. They briefed her about the shows they play and how they promoted Ghana not just through their music but through their outfits.
They also addressed Her Excellency on how good the response of the audience was and also revealed plans to have a return trip next year if possible.
Her Excellency Ms Elizabeth Adjei said they will make plans to make their Spain tour a frequent one.
She added that it will not necessarily be with casa Africa but with other festivals for Barca den Zaragoza.
It was a singular honour engaging with Her Excellency Elizabeth Adjei, the Ghanaian ambassador to Spain this today. She lauded our efforts in promoting Ghanaian music and pledged her allegiance and support in furthering our future endeavours #JourneyAlbumReleaseConcert pic.twitter.com/6DDk9GBKPB

And about the future of Ghanaian bands making it in the world this is what they had to say.
We would say the world is always ready to listen to Ghanaian music. Ghanaian bands just need to produce good music that can cut through borders.
Here are some excerpts from their tour.
