Ever heard of UTIs?
Urinary tract infections are infections in any part of the urinary system. This includes the kidneys and the bladder. They are more common in women. We are as shocked as you are. They usually occur in the bladder or urethra but serious infections may involve the kidney.
UTIs are self-diagnosable. You might feel an increased urge to urinate, pelvic pain, pain with urination and blood in the urine. All these sound painful. I wouldn’t want to experience that. A kidney infection may cause back pain, nausea, vomiting, and fever. All these may differ from person to person. People might feel pain during sexual intercourse and others may feel incomplete bladder emptying. Females may even get vaginal irritation.
Now let’s go on to the treatment so that if you get this kind of infection you’ll know how to go about it.
The best way to treat UTIs is by using antibiotics but sometimes the body can treat mild UTIs without antibiotics. Complicated ones will need medical treatment. Depending on the level the infection reach, you might have to see the doctor Charley. Don’t sit in your house and think you’ll heal on your own.
For Mild UTIs you can stay hydrated, urinate when the need arises, drink cranberry juice(contains anti-oxidants which have anti-inflammatory properties), get enough vitamin c in your system and practice good sexual hygiene (urinating before and after sex, using condoms and ensuring that sexual partners are aware of any current or previous UTIs). We can’t stress this enough but if it’s complicated please seek medical attention!!
Be safe guys and don’t suffer because you’re ignorant.
