Listen, you cannot mention iconic groups or duos that made the Ghanaian music industry lit without adding these groups! Most of them made it to the charts in the 90s and early 2000s and all their songs were the life of the party!!!
Akyeame
The group, Akyeame was made up of Okyeame Kwame and Okyeame Kofi but they, unfortunately, they parted ways in 2004 with Okyeame Kwame going on to pursue a successful solo career.
Akatakyie
These guys were IT back then! The group made up of Prince Kwabena Budu Asumaning (Kobby Culture) and Ebenezer Kwasi Okyere Asumaning (King Pharaoh) gave us hit songs and their album Ghana Mbaa made all the waves in 1999!
Blackstone
The group was made up of Flexx and Kawastone and they gave us this beautiful and arguably one of the best love songs ever!!!!!!
Antwi Ne Antwi
This duo was made up of the blood brothers, David Kwasi Okyere Antwi and Michael Kwame Antwi. They didn’t just give us this timeless Sakina song! They had so many great songs we always jammed to and they were such great singers.
Buk Bak
Buk Bak is one of the best groups ever!!! They gave us hits consistently it’s even hard to remember they are so old! And yes we said duo but they just had to be in here!!!
