Nice Kicks and adidas have dropped a special iteration of the UltraBOOST.
Dubbed “Woodstock,” the sneakers pay homage to the Woodstock Festival which was held in the ’60s.
The iconic festival was pivotal in the hippie movement, becoming a destination for people to celebrate peace, love and music. Taking inspiration from this generation, the sneaker arrives with a tie-dye spiral upper featuring bright and bold shades like red, yellow, green, blue and purple.
The Woodstock sneakers sold out in a matter of seconds once dropping on Saturday, 7th August at Nice Kicks’ web store for $180 USD. Contrasts are added with white BOOST midsoles and a translucent cage hugging the sneaker on the sides. The design is finished off with Nice Kicks and Woodstock’s branding on the insoles and tongue tags.
The shoes feature a vibrant tie-dye pattern reminiscent of the ’60s hippie style in shades like blue, pink, yellow, orange and red.
