Social Media To The Rescue: Enoch Brako Has Stage 5 Kidney Failure And He Needs $30,000 For Transplant

We’re each others keeper…

Sometimes, the little we do to help someone can go a long way of helping that person live their best life.

That goes for Enoch Brako, the 28-year-old kidney failure patient, who needs help to raise $30,000 to undergo a much-needed life-saving kidney transplant surgery.

“Enoch was diagnosed with stage 5 Kidney failure 4 years ago,” a GoFundMe page created to help him raise the funds said.

According to Daniel Odame, who created the crowdfunding campaign on Go Fund Me, he needs help raising $30,000 to help pay for a kidney transplant for Enoch and also “start up a small business when he regains his health.”

“Enoch is 28 years old and this condition is not normal for his age, this condition has kept him unemployed as his health doesn’t allow him to. His family and I are doing our best to raise money for his condition but it is almost impossible to raise this money on my own,” Daniel said on GoFundMe.

Daniel said Enoch has been on constant dialysis since he was diagnosed and that “the cost of the dialysis and transport from his residence to the nearest dialysis centre which is about a 3-hour drive every 3 days has been financially draining.”

As at the time of filing this report, $26 have been raised on Go Fund Me. There is also a mobile money number you can donate to if you wish to do that.
