It’s all eyes on us, from now on.
In celebrating 400 years since the first recorded slave ship arrived in the United States of America, the word’s attention has been fixed on Ghana.
That means a lot of Black people in the west are looking to visit the homeland – the land of their ancestors.
The lastest big Hollyhood figure visiting the country to mark the Year of Return, is the comedian and TV host, Steve Harvey.
We told y’all yesterday that Steve Harvey has arrived in the country with his family and they will be visiting tourist sites in the country.
However, before Steve Harvey and his family take on the emotional trips to slavery monuments, he made sure to meet up with one of the few people he knows lives in Ghana…
… and that is none other than the oil and gas billionaire, Kevin Okyere.
Kevin Okyere was recently a guest on the now cancelled Steve Harvey Show.
While there, Kevin Okyere and Steve Harvey talked about ensuring energy sufficiency in Africa as well as using philanthropy to help build African communities.
Obviously, Steve Harvey was impressed with Kevin Okyere’s exploits and the two men struck a friendship.
With Steve Harvey in town, it was a given that the two were bound to meet up…
… and they did!!
