The MTV VMA nominations came out some days ago
And it was just revealed Missy Elliott is going to be the recipient of this year’s Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs.
The award honours artists for their contributions to the world of music videos and artistes such as Michael Jackson, The Beatles, LL Cool J, Madonna, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Kanye and more outstanding artistes
Missy Elliot has contributed immensely to the music scene and she does deserve this award!!

Missy used to give us the dopest and creative videos that got us hooked anytime her videos came on TV! She honestly deserves the award and to be honest, it’s been a long time coming!!
