Sometimes, the internet or Social Media acts like it’s the most gloomy place to be on earth, then this happens…
Since Beyonce surprised us with her album, Lion King: The Gift Album on which she featured Shatta Wale as one of the many African acts, we haven’t really kept calm since.
More so after we also realized that Ghanaian producer, GuiltyBeatz also produced three songs on the album, with other Ghanaian, called Raye also getting credited as the songwriter of “Bigger”, the first song on the album.
Now, thanks to this amazing Ghanaian pharmacist, we have another Ghanaian claim to Beyonce’s ground-breaking album.
Spirit, is the only song on the Beyonce album that was also featured in the Lion King movie.
Believe us, we love Beyonce’s presentation of the song, however, Dr Emmanuella Abassah-Konadu’s rendition of the same song gave us goosebumps.
Maybe, it’s because the doctor recorded herself just singing her heart out while on the grind…
Her voice was amazing and frankly, we wouldn’t mind to walk in to our doctor’s appointment and find our doctor being awesome and doing justice to a Queen Bey song…
