Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim has launched her book titled ”A Toast To Life”.
The beautiful movie star shares her journey through life and how her family survived back to back wars across Liberia, Lebanon, and Côte d’Ivoire.
Juliet reveals that a girl can live through difficult times and still emerge as a successful person. The book is an eye-opener on Juliet’s growing up years and her current reality.
By 16, she had seen more wars and lived through different cultures than most would in their entire life. The story is a story of a mother’s love and towering presence, it’s the story of dreams and the sweat and thoughts they require to become reality.
In an excerpt from the book, Juliet Ibrahim writes “if only she had asked me why I left him. Then again, I did not ask his ex why she walked away. The gut feeling you have about someone, even when you cannot place your finger on what it is, is important. Do not ignore your intuition.
Lessons I learnt?
Over here, it is sisters over bros. Never hurt another woman for the love of a man. If he could hurt and abandon her, he will do the same, even worse to you. Women will be safer if we stop the blind competition with each other over a man’s affection.”
The book is up for sale on www.amazon.com and you can also call and/or order via WhatsApp (Nigeria +2348157729057, Ghana +233200737479).
