10 Young Players To Look Out For In The 2019/2020 Premier League Season

The 2019/2020 Premier League season will start this Friday and we just can’t wait!

A lot of young players would be given the opportunity by coaches to show what they’ve got and most of them are set to do a lot of great stuff this season.

Many of these young players put up impressive performances while on loan and they are back in their respective first teams now to continue the amazing performances they had in the previous season.

Here are 10 players y’all need to look out for this season:

Tammy Abraham, 21, Striker (Chelsea)

Tammy Abraham is back at Chelsea, his first team after he was sent on loan to Aston Villa last season (2018/2019). He played 37 games and scored 25 goals. He put up great performances and helped Aston Villa get back to the Premier League from the championship. He is the new number 9 for Chelsea and he would play a key role in the team this upcoming season.

Aaron Wan Bissaka, 21, Defender (Manchester United)

Aaron Wan Bissaka joined Manchester United this transfer window after having an awesome season with Crystal Palace. He was one of the best right-backs in the 2018/2019 league season. He made 42 appearances for Crystal Palace; he scored 3 goals and made 14 assists. It would be interesting to see what he will do to improve Manchester United’s performance in the Premier League in the upcoming season.

Matteo Guendouzi, 20, Midfielder (Arsenal)

Guendouzi had an awesome debut season for Arsenal last year. It would be wonderful to see what he will do to improve on what he did last season. He played 33 games for Arsenal last season.

Phil Foden, 19, Midfielder (Manchester City)

Foden played some great games last season and Pep Guardiola seems to like him. He might get more game time this season judging by his performance last season. Foden scored 7 goals and made 2 assists in 27 games. He would be a crucial player for City this season.

Christian Pulisic, 20, Midfielder (Chelsea)

Pulisic is expected by many to fill the gap Eden Hazard left a Chelsea. Pulisic is an amazing player and has the pace needed to play in the Premier League. He was spectacular for Dortmund and he is likely to replicate and even do better at Chelsea. He will be one player to look of for this season.

Reiss Nelson, 19, Forward (Arsenal)

Nelson was on loan to Bundes Liga side Hoffenheim for the 2018/2019 season. He was amazing for Hoffenheim and he is set to assist Arsenal to make the top four and possibly win the league this season. He played 31 games last season, scored 8 and made 1 assist.

Daniel James, 21, Winger (Manchester United)

Daniel James is one of Manchester United new signings. He was signed from Swansea City. In the 2018/019 season, he played 38 games, scored 5 goals and made 10 awesome assists.

Mason Mount, 20, Midfielder (Chelsea)

Mount had a great loan spell at Derby County last season under Frank Lampard. In 38 appearances, Mount scored 8 goals for Derby. He’s a favourite of Chelsea’s new coach, Frank Lampard and he’s likely to get a lot of game time under Lampard.

Callum Hudson-Odoi, 18, Midfielder (Chelsea)

Callum Hudson-Odoi is Chelsea’s wonderkid. He was amazing for Chelsea last season until his injury. He’s recovering from that injury now and he’s definitely going to be a key member of Frank Lampard’s team when he is fully fit. He played 29 games last season, he scored 6 and gave 7 assists.

Jack Grealish, 23, Midfielder (Aston Villa)

Jack Grealish is one of Aston Villa’s star players that you need to look out for. He was among the key players who helped the team get back to the Premier League. Grealish scored 6 goals and made 7 assists in 35 appearances for Aston Villa in the 2018/2019 season. It would be great to see what he will do for Aston Villa in the upcoming season.
