University Of Ghana Is Set To Hold Its First-Ever Alumni Homecoming In August


Ghana’s Premier University, the University of Ghana is set to hold its first-ever alumni homecoming in August. The homecoming is slated for 9th-11th August 2019, and it will commemorate the university’s 70th anniversary and create an avenue for the alumni to network.

The university’s first-ever alumni homecoming was launched on Wednesday, July 1o 2019 at the Great Hall.

The purpose of the homecoming is to raise funds to support the UG@70 Endowment Fund.

The endowment fund was set up as one of the major activities highlighting the university’s 70th anniversary to provide non-restricted funding to enable the university to deliver on its mandate and provide additional facilities and resources to enhance teaching and learning.
