We are beyond joy for Guilty Beatz, Raye and Shatta Wale for the respective roles they played on Beyonce’s new album The Lion King -The Gift album.

Guilty Beatz produced three of the songs on the album, Raye wrote the first song on the album called “Bigger” and Shatta Wale was featured on a song with only Beyonce called “Already”.

Shatta Wale is a big guy in the Ghanaian music scene but even in his case, a feature on Beyonce’s album is above him too.

It’s big, it’s huge and it’s a very big career boost for our self-acclaimed king of dancehall – Shatta Wale.

Shatta Wale is one who trusts the process and acknowledges the people who made it possible.

In one of a series of first tweets from Shatta Wale after Beyonce announced the tracklist of the album, Shatta Wale took the time to thank the embattled CEO of Menzgold and Zylofon Music, the record label he is signed to – Nana Appiah Mensah.

In the tweet, Shatta Wale said “I said it 2019 go be so beautiful 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽Thank you God for the revelation. Thnx to my fans especially ..And to all the Gh artiste, this is not just for me but for all of us!!!”

Then he added “thanks to NAM1 & Fantasy Entertainment Zylofon music,” ending it with the hashtag #NAMMISSION

The CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah has been remanded in Police custody by an Accra Circuit court for two weeks.

The embattled CEO is on trial for two counts of abetment to defraud by false pretence and two counts of abetment to carry out banking business without a licence, contrary to Section 6 (1) of the Banks and Specialised Deposit-taking Institutions Act, 2016 (Act 930).

Too bad he is languishing in prison while his artiste is making such monumental strides in the music scene.
