Imagine Takoradi and The Sekondi-Takoradi Masqueraders’ Federation have teamed up to organise a “peaceful demonstration” to express their discomfort towards the delay of the rescue of the 3 kidnapped Takoradi Girls.
They are, however, calling on residents and the media to join them demonstrate on August 10, 2019.
It’s close to a year since the three girls namely; Priscilla Blessing Bentum, 21, Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, 18, and Ruth Love Quayson, 18, were kidnapped.
However, the police have still not been able to provide any substantial information about where the girls may be or how they can rescue them.
According to the leaders of the demonstration, they still trust the police to find the girls. They also added that they continue to believe in the assurances given them by the CID boss, Madam Yaa Tiwa Addo-Danquah.
“We want those in charge to be aware that, the entire Sekondi-Takoradi residents are still expectant to see our daughters soon and we are coming on the street,” the statement concluded.
