Ernesto Yeboah, Leader Of Economic Fighters League Arrested For Screaming “#DropThatChamber” In Parliament


We have picked up reports that Ernesto Yeboah, a protestor against the plans of the government to construct a new parliament has just been arrested for screaming “drop that chamber” and disturbing parliament from the public gallery.

Ernesto Yeboah is the Leader of the pressure group, Economic Fighters League (Fighters), a generational movement for the economic freedom of Africans.

“Drop that Chamber” has been trending on social media this week after it was disclosed that the government is planning to build a new 450-seater parliament which will cost about $200M.

Ernesto Yeboah and his group, earlier this week, issued a statement that they will storm parliament to protest against the construction of the new parliament.

Another group is also planning a demonstration on July 13.
