Dr Yaw Okraku-Yirenkyi, Director Of The Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation Wins Best Robotics Paper Award In The U.S

Dr Yaw Okraku-Yirenkyi, Director of the Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation (GRAF) has won the Best Robotics Paper Award in the U.S.

Dr Yaw Okraku-Yirenkyi presented two papers:

“Impact of the Robotics inspired Science Education Program on Education in Ghana” and “Design and Navigation Technique of an Underground Mine Inspection Robot.”

Both papers were submitted to the Global Strategic Management Inc (GSMI) Conference held in Miami, US on June 21 & 22, 2019. The presentation was delivered by Dr Yaw Okraku-Yirenkyi on Friday, June 21, 2019.

The award determination was made by judges from countries including Australia, Canada, China, India, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, Taiwan, UAE and USA.

Dr Yaw Okraku-Yirenkyi is also the Director of Studies at the Ghana­-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT and has served in this position since 2008.
