The Corporate Affairs Director of the Ghana National Service Scheme (NSS), Armstrong Esaah, has revealed that the authority will, in July, release the postings of applicants for the 2019/2020 national service year.
He said the list will include all defaulting applicants, some of whom completed tertiary institutions four years ago, as well as fresh applicants who left school in 2019.
Mr Esaah told Kwabena Prah Jnr in an interview on 27 June 2019 said that the current leadership of the NSS intends to make national service smooth for all applicants, therefore, several meetings have been organised between the Executive Director, Mr Mustapha Usif and the other directors to that effect.
He further said that preparations are being put in place for the release of the 2019/2020 posting in July they are doing everything to make sure that the postings are released in good time.
The postings will include private candidates or defaulters who left tertiary some five, four, three or two years ago but didn’t do their service but will want to do it now. This is important because national service is compulsory one-year service to the nation.
