Kofi Kingston yesterday had the honour of meeting Otumfuo Osei Tutu II as part of the activities he was to undertake during his 4-day visit to Ghana.
The WWE Champion attended the Akwasidae Festival. At the festival, he met the Asantehene and interacted with him. Kofi also presented his WWE title the Otumfuo.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I would stand before the Ashanti King bearing gifts and conversing with him. I’m still trying to process it all, lol. Life is crazy…” Kofi said on Instagram.
Before meeting the Asantehene, Kofi Kingston visited his hometown, Ejisu. In Ejisu, he met the Chief, Nana Afrane Okese IV. He also had the opportunity to weave kente in Bonwire and stamped Adinkra symbols in Ntonso.
