Right now everyone is into detoxing. Detox plans, detox diets, detox drinks, detox foods. Why all of this detoxification?

Detoxification is supposed to help the body cleanse the chemicals and toxins that enter our system every day from our food and environment. Most claim that you will lose weight by detoxing because it will somehow boost your metabolism.

Here are totally natural ways you can detox the right way.

Drink Water

The kidneys need water to create urine, which ushers the waste and toxins from our bodies. Drinking 8-10 glasses per day is recommended, more in dry climates or with vigorous activity.

Eat foods high in fiber

Fiber binds itself to toxins and waste in the intestines and pulls them out of the body.  Foods rich in fibre are seeds, nuts, legumes, whole grains, fruit, and vegetables.

Minimize or eliminate white sugar intake

Avoid toxic artificial sweeteners, and opt for natural versions such as stevia, honey, coconut sugar, date sugar, molasses, or maple syrup.  If you crave something sweet, know that it’s your body’s way of saying you have gone too long without eating. It is a signal that your blood sugar is out of whack, it is usually solved by some protein and good quality fat.

This is what most of you are trying to avoid but exercising doesn’t necessarily mean have a gym subscription. Just walk more, jog at a point for some 10 minutes… do something charley. You won’t die. Exercise increases blood flow and oxygen to all parts of the body, which in turns keeps them healthy and functioning properly.

Walk, smile, laugh, be happy and remove toxic people out of your life.

This will all help to reduce stress and the stress chemicals in your body.
