Kofi Kingston Is Set To Star In WWE-Netflix Partnered Movie, “The Main Event”

WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston is set to star in a WWE-Netflix partnered movie, The Main Event.

The movie according to SI will be about an 11-year-old who enters a competition to become the next WWE superstar after discovering a magical mask.

Other WWE superstars who will star in the movie are The Miz and Sheamus.

Production is currently underway, and the film is expected to premiere on Netflix in 2020.

Kofi Kingston was recently in Ghana, where he met with President Nana Akufo-Addo in the Jubilee House, met the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu and also visited his hometown, Ejisu.

He became the first African-born WWE Champion on April 7, 2019, after beating Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania 35.
