John Dumelo has asked the Canadian security experts who reportedly came to Ghana to help rescue the kidnapped Canadian citizens to stay for one more week to help find the missing Takoradi girls.

“I will pay for the accommodation I beg,” he said on Twitter.

The Canadian ladies were rescued this morning by a police SWAT team with help from some Canadian security experts, a week after they were kidnapped. The ladies were kidnapped at gunpoint in the Ashanti Region.

After the rescue of the Canadian girls, many have questioned the capability of the Ghana Police to find the three Takoradi girls who have gone missing since last year.

The police claim they are still investigating the case, but nothing new has been communicated to Ghanaians concerning the case.

This is the reason why John Dumelo is asking for the Canadian security experts to stay for a week to help us find the Takoradi girls.

However, the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has said that no foreign intelligence or security operatives helped the Ghanaian security agencies to rescue the Canadian girls.

Whether they had support or not… we hope they use the same energy to find our Takoradi girls.
