Last month, we reported that Steve Harvey bought 555 copies of a book written by 8-year-old best selling author, Nicholas Buamah. The books which were bought by Steve Harvey will be donated to public libraries in Ghana.
Nicholas had the opportunity to meet Ghana’s ambassador to the U.S, H.E. Dr Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah. Nicholas and his family were invited to the embassy by the ambassador.
At the embassy, Nicholas interacted with the ambassador and staff. He also presented his book to the ambassador.
Nicholas’ book, “Kayla and Kyle the Walking Dictionaries: Election Day” has been accepted into the Library of Congress in the United States, which makes it accessible to all libraries in elementary schools. His book is also the best-selling on Amazon.
The book aims to help elementary school students to expand their vocabulary and improve their communication skills.
The book is about two walking dictionaries; Kayla and Kyle, who are contesting for class president in a debate. Both dictionaries advocate for their qualifications while using some advanced vocabularies in their duel.
