The University of Ghana admits a limited number of students who are already enrolled in other Universities, though local transfers are not allowed.
Is a certain University causing you constant confusion?
These are the qualifications to be met if you wish to transfer to the University of Legon.
You have to complete a minimum study period of 4 semesters as a full-time student at this university.
This means that you have to spend at least 2 years at the University of Ghana before you become eligible for graduation.
So, if you’re in level 400, you’re outta the game ma.
You are required to continue the course that you are reading at your current University.
If your transfer goes through, you can’t change your course and if the course you read in your University is not offered in the University of Ghana, you’re also out.
Lastly, the classification of the degree will be based on only the courses taken at the University of Ghana.
This is to say that, your GPA will be based on only the two years you spent at the University. Good news right?
Did you qualify? Well, Yayyyy!
Send your letter to the office of the Dean Of Students Affairs at the University of Ghana and we’ll see you when we see you.
