We think that by now all of us do admit that Ghana is pretty cool.
Yep.. that’s why we’ve now become a pilgrim venue for the rich and famous in the West.
As we prepare to host a number of black Americans and our relatives in the Caribbean for the Year Of Return this December, Ghana is quickly gaining interest in Hollywood.
While you are reading this, comedian, writer and producer, Conan O’Brien who hosts a self-titled late night talk show “Conan” is visiting Ghana.
According to him, he would record an episode of his show titled “Conan Without Borders” here.
The American talk show host is visiting Ghana with his friend Sam Richardson, one of the stars of HBO’s hit show “VEEP” who is of Ghanaian descent.
Conan shared a video which they recorded in Accra with the plush Villagio Vista apartments in the background.

They also visited Nana Ama McBrown’s Kitchen where they cooked Jollof rice.
.@SamRichardson & I went on @Emprezzmcbrown’s cooking show #McBrownsKitchen and made traditional Ghanaian joloff rice. We brought the heat, she added the spice. #ConanGhana pic.twitter.com/GsRQ8Kg8zj

While announcing on his show that he would be travelling to Ghana, Conan said his trip to Ghana was an acceptance to a request from the Ghanaian Ambassador to the USA, Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah.
We hope you enjoy your stay, Conan.
Good job to ‘tour guide’ Sam Richardson as well.
