#NSMQ2019: Notre Dame Girls SHS And T.I AMASS, Kumasi Have Progressed To One-Eighth Of The Competition

By the end of yesterday, six senior high schools have booked their place in the one-eighth stage of the 2019 National Science and Maths Quiz.

First, it was Apam and Chemu SHS then later, they were joined by Kpando and Bolgantanga Girls’ SHS.

Yes, it was the first day of the competition and yet people were being all cutthroat about it…lol

At the end of the last two contests yesterday, T.I AMASS, Kumasi and Notre Dame Girls have also secured their place and progressed to the next stage of the competition.

Kingsford Owusu Ansah and Ishmael Kofi Mensah from T.I AMASS, Kumasi were no match for their competitors as they won their competition with 55 points.

Berekum SHS, who came in second had 39 points and Bawku SHTS were left behind to make do with 17 points.

Meanwhile, in the other contest that was held simultaneously with the T.I AMASS, Kumasi contest, the girls from Notre Dame were on fire.

They closed their contest with 36 points, while second-placed Uthman Bin Affan SHS got 18 points with third-placed Adaklu SHS going home with 16 points in the bag.
