Organizers Of The National Science And Maths Quiz Unveil A New Trophy

The 2019 edition of the National Science & Maths Quiz and Science Festival was launched yesterday at the British Council Hall in Accra.

At the launch, Mrs Nana Akua Ankomah-Asare, the Managing Director of Primetime Limited (organizers of the  National Science & Maths Quiz) encouraged the contestants to give their very best performance during the competition.

Dr Kwabena Bempah Tandoh, the deputy DG (Quality & Access) of the GES, also encouraged the competing schools to participate fairly and with integrity.

The new NSMQ trophy was also unveiled at the launch. The new trophy was made by Touch of Bronze Gallery, located in East Legon.

The list of 2019 NSMQ competing schools was also released yesterday. A total of 135 schools will be competing for the prestigious prize in the 2019 National Science and Maths Quiz.

The 2018 edition was won by St. Peter’s Senior High School. They beat West Africa SHS and Adisadel College in the finals to clinch the amazing trophy and gain all the bragging rights that come with winning the competition.
