According to Xtian Dela, a Kenyan Blogger, Stonebwoy was kicked out of his hotel and Yemi Alade was locked in her hotel because of unpaid bills after the Tomorrow’s Leaders Festival, organised by Morgan Heritage flopped. He added that all the Kenyan artists that performed at the event have not been paid.
Yemi Alade on Sunday 9, 2019 after the event, tweeted: “This by far is my worst trip to Nairobi, but I won’t let this one experience ruin the love I have for this beautiful place! No devil! Not today! I SAY NOT TODAAAAAY!!!!!”

However, Stonebwoy has described the reports as false. “Sometimes I wonder why so much WICKEDNESS in our Country… FALSE reportage Gives Us So Much JOY!! like I see these things and I’m pushed to regret Representing For this same Flag. When All they want is TO SEE US FAIL.. anyway the LAW works and we might resort to it!,” he said on Twitter.

Xtian Dela also added that the event which was meant to raise funds and awareness for youth leadership programs “was a complete disaster from the start.” According to him, Diamond Platnumz and Yemi Alade refused to go on stage because they were not paid.
He also stated that the host of the event, Jeff Koinange also pulled out of the event hours before it started because he didn’t want to align his brand with an event that was poorly organised and with no pay.
Xtian further added that on the day of the event, all the artists refused to go on stage because they were not paid. Morgan Heritage allegedly gave them cheques backstage, but a few hours after the performance, they got an email stating that there was no money in the account.
