UG: Free Evening Shuttle Service Commences Today!!!.

A little bit of good news amidst all the stress going on, shuttle services on campus from 7 pm will be free, starting today,17th May 2019, according to plans by the University management in collaboration with the UGSRC.

The Student Representative President, Sylvester Owusu-Amoako, also known as Sly, disclosed that an amount of 1000 Ghana Cedis has been released by the University for the fuelling of shuttles to enable them to provide free evening services.

This development comes after the near-fatal attack on a student along the Pent-Evandy route by armed robbers a month ago.

The money is an initial amount for the fueling of SRC shuttles for the realization of the *free evening shuttle service* initiative planned by the school management.

Other projects including the provision of street lights, more security personnel and installation of barricades have been put in motion
