A time comes in the life of a man when he has no other thing of a choice to do but to celebrate the colossus of his existence; MOTHERHOOD. As such, 12th May is the August day set to honour the wombs that carried us all into the world.
It is on this note, MC Haymaker, born Michael Nanabayin Kofi Asaam, a sensational Poet from the Central Region has kneaded a very touching poetic piece dubbed LULLABY.
The poem draws its inspiration from the beautiful traditional Ghanaian lullabies that were sung to kids by their mothers.
The poem hints on how much mothers are being robbed of their sleep by their little ones but yet endure with glee, among others.
The poem, in as much as celebrates all mothers across the globe, does not fail to highlight the genuine touch of beautiful African Poetry.
In March this year, MC Haymaker published his first book, a poetry compilation titled MUSINGS OF AN ECLECTIC SOUL and is up for sale for all poetry and literature lovers.
