You’all know that the English language isn’t our first language. All of us are trying to get by with what we learned in school and from our childhood movies.

Whatever the case is, all of us have that one word we probably can’t mention quite right.

For certain people, the word ‘Criticism’ gets them all the time.

Now, Shatta Wale is also teaching us that besides having a hard time mentioning certain words, there are certain words that become the scarecrow in our lives.

The award-winning dancehall artiste has said the word “congratulate” is now is the scariest word ever…

…and we think we know where his fear is coming from.

Last two weeks Saturday, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were the centre of a show-stopping scene at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

According to Shatta Wale, he had approached the stage just before Stonebwoy was about to deliver his acceptance speech for winning reggae/dancehall artiste of the year, ostensibly to “congratulate” Stonebwoy.

However, as the crew from the two camps met, it turned into a fight that has caused both musicians to lose the awards they won that night.

The two are also being prosecuted for the same incident with their next court date scheduled for June 20.

Now, Shatta Wale has realised that saying congratulations can come at a huge cost.

He is also wondering how he will congratulate politicians who win elections since the word “congratulate” has now become a “dangerous word.”

lol… Shatta Wale won’t kill us oh!!!
