Ghana’s Akwasi Frimpong is visiting his Ghanaian family with his wife, Erica Shields Frimpong.
Akwasi Frimpong is the first Ghanaian to have represented Ghana in the Winter Olympics in the Skeleton discipline.
Since he represented Ghana in the Winter Olympics in PyoenChang, he has been getting better with his coach Zach Lund by his side and with the limitless support from his family.
In the past couple of days, Akwasi, who is mainly based in the Netherlands has been travelling Ghana and enjoying the beautiful Ghanaian culture with his wife Erica.
They have enjoyed sugarcane…
Erica prepared garden eggs stew and she used the earthenware bowl — who needs a blender?
The love of enjoying the hustle and bustle of Makola market…
Then they travelled to Kumasi, where he was born, to meet Akwasi’s family and grandmother who cared for Akwasi until he was 8 years old.
Akwasi Frimpong then introduced his wife to the other important woman in his life – his grandmother…
Enjoy our beautiful country, Akwasi and our in-law Erica Shields Frimpong.
