Yvonne Okoro has fulfiled her promise to Ghana’s female national team, the Black Queens.
She promised the Black Queens $10,000 if they made it to the semi-final stage of the WAFU Zone B Women’s Cup of Nations.
The Black Queens were recently in Ivory Coast for the 2019 West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone B Women’s tournament. They emerged as the 3rd best team at the tournament.

The Black Queens were the defending champions going into the tournament.
Yvonne Okoro’s donation is a great move to help the team financially.
