Kwaw Kese has launched a campaign on social media against the indefinite ban placed on Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale by the board of the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The board of the 2019 VGMA in a press conference yesterday, announced that due to the actions of the two dancehall artists on the night, both have been banned indefinitely and stripped of all the awards they won at VGMA20.

However, Kwaw Kese feels banning the artists will not solve the problem. This caused him to launch the #MOMAGA (Make Our Music Awards Great Again) campaign on Twitter.
He tweeted: “It’s high time we musicians in Ghana come together and fight for what belongs to us. Banning people will not solve the problem”

What can we show after 20years of Ghana music awards?
Respect musician's hustle and stop the boardroom mafias and "kululu" which even doesn't add anything to their talent #MOMAGA— Erm two things Bernard Avle😍 (@emmauelwithyou) May 23, 2019
