Award-winning dancehall musicians, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale are in court today after the police released them on bail last Monday.
The police are accusing the two musicians of causing public disturbance during the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
A brawl occurred last Saturday, during the awards show after Shatta Wale approached the stage where Stonebwoy was getting ready to deliver his acceptance speech after Stonebwoy was announced the winner of the Reggae/Dancehall category.
Stonebwoy, on the other hand, pulled out a gun when he saw Shatta Wale and his entourage approaching him on the stage.
This led to a scuffle which caused a near 30-minute halt in the transmission of the award show.
