You guys… Shatta Wale’s retirement from music lasted a little over 48 hours… we knew it wouldn’t last.
Last Sunday, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and another Nii Amoo, were arrested by the police for causing public disturbance during the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The two dancehall musicians were involved in a scuffle that halted the broadcast of VGMA for about 30 minutes.
Hours after the event ended, the two were arrested.
After spending a night in police custody, they were released on bail, awaiting trial.

However, just 24 hours after he was released from police custody, Shatta Wale has released a ‘gospel song’ he titled “God Is Alive”.
Shatta Wale’s “God Is Alive”, which was produced by Da Maker, is mainly a praise song to God for protecting him, saving him from death, destitution and being disgraced.

What do you think?
Did Shatta make this song because of Saturday’s happenings or is this sheer coincidence?
