Ghanaian NFL Player Ziggy Ansah Has Signed A $14 Million Deal To Join The Seattle Seahawks

Ghanaians excellence is everywhere these days.

For years now, we’ve been quite familiar with Ziggy Ansah, the Ghanaian NFL player.

Well, we’ve got an update for those who have been following his career with keen interest just because he is a Ghanaian who is killing it in the United States of America.

Last week the Seattle Seahawks signed Ziggy Ansah, defensive end player to a one-year contract in order to address their pass rushing deficiency created when Frank Clark was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The value of his deal with the Seattle Seahawks is said to be $14 Million.

The deal comes with a signing bonus and base salary of up to $6M for Ansah and are fully guaranteed. That means that effectively no matter what, as long as he does not get suspended between now and the season, then he will get that first $6M.

He reportedly gets $1.5M for 53 man roster bonuses and $1.5M for 46 man roster bonuses. That means whenever he is in the lineup to play a game he gets this money as well.

In addition to that, his contract also has about $8 Million covering performance and playing time incentives.

This $8 million comes despite all the other amounts we have mentioned earlier, except that this is tied to his performance on the pitch and his overall playing time.

Whatever be the case, this is a good money move for Ziggy Ansah and we’re just happy for the guy, charley.
