
British Council Ghana and the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Charity Foundation have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today.
The MoU is the first of its kind between British Council Ghana and Manhyia Palace to officially formalise a mutually beneficial relationship.

According to Britsih Council Ghana, the MoU seeks to build a strong relationship through collaborating on the development of projects in the Ashanti Region which is in line with the British Council’s mission to make positive contributions around the world by creating opportunities, building connections and engendering trust.
The British Council seeks to develop and improve relations between the UK and Ghana through programmes and projects that extend across a range of cultural, technical, educational, professional and personal development activities.
According to the British Council, the positive influence of its cultural relations will help Ghana maintain its position as an example of stability in the region.
