The University of Ghana has disclosed that is has engaged the National Security to increase security on campus.

The horribly incident started a hashtag on social media, #MakeUGaSafePlaceAgain, which got a lot of people talking about the recent lack of security in the country that has now become a thing on university campuses.

In a signed statement from the University of Ghana SRC President, Sylvester Owusu Amoako, he said the Vice Chancellor, Prof Ebenezer Oduro Owusu joined a delegation that visited the butchered level 400 student at the 37 Military Hospital, where he is receiving treatment.

As a matter of urgency, he said, “all streetlights on campus are being worked on.”

“University Management is working hand in hand with National Security to increase patrol on campus…,” he added.
