From last Wednesday to yesterday, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology was turned into one giant party scene that can be likened to spring break.
It was an amazing 5 days of back to back parties, networking activities and people just generally having a good time.
This year’s Repu, which was organized by Ghana’s number one 360 youth marketing agency, EchoHouse in partnership with Repu.
The Hall week ended with a beautiful climax with the Vodafone X Concert where Stonebwoy, La Meme Gang, Yaa Pono, iPhone DJ, Kojo Manuel and others gave the KNUST students a night to remember.
However, before that, a number of equally amazing activities took place including the legendary Epilogo which was dubbed The Homecoming, where students and people who travelled all the way from Accra, jammed from Thursday to Early Friday morning.
It would be a crime on our part to talk about Repu Hall Week 2019 and not talk about the Rexona Colourthon. It was fun, energetic and God bless the La Meme gang for the turn up at the end of the race.
The Orijinal Beats set was some deep level party thingy with the iPhone DJ proving he is a DJ god… really.
The Orijinal Fashion night was also a major boost for all the fashionistas on campus with authentic fashion pieces on display!
That wasn’t all. While some people jammed, a number of students who came to have fun too went away with GHS 3,000, a PS4 and a lot more goodies from the Nivea Treasure Hunt…
Only Echo can help a student win GHS 3,000 just for turning up at the Repu Hall Week.
All the numerous Repu Hall Week events including the Dog Show, the car wash and others had amazing turnouts from students and all other people who had travelled from Accra on the Vodafone X Bus, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Sunyani and other places just to have that Repu Experience in the way only Echo House knows how to serve it best.
But the Vipers were on fire as they beat all their opponents to win the Betway sponsored Bounce 3X3 basketball competition.
Recognizing how important it is to engage students and give them a unique brand experiential in an environment they are most comfortable in, about thirty brands were on hand to implement their own activations for the pleasure of the student body.
On any given day of the five day back to back Repu Hall week celebration, each day drew in about 20 thousand people who experienced the various cames, brand activations and the numerous parties that were held.
This year’s Repu was really a bang and we’re currently waiting for the next Repu.
