We are all used to seeing M.anifest on stage rapping but he will be doing the unusual on 30th May 2019 at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences.
The godMC will be speaking at the 2019 Ephraim Amu Memorial Lecture on the topic: “Re-Imaging Us: The Role of Popular Music In Self-Actualization”.
The lecture is being organised by the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences and it will take place at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences Auditorium on 30th May 2019 at 5:30 pm.
This is going to be a seminal moment for @manifestive! Over a decade of helping shape Ghanaian popular culture with originality & a truly experimental spirit! Few artists straddle the line of independent and mainstream as well as Kwame. @GAASGhana made a good choice. Can’t wait! pic.twitter.com/ffg63fFyyH

M.anifest yesterday lost his grandfather, Emeritus J.H.K Nketia who was a renowned ethnomusicologist and looking at his background and knowledge in music, the lecture will be an amazing one.
Don’t miss it if you are a lover of music!
