England captain and Spurs striker Harry Kane has received an MBE from Prince William today.
Kane was awarded the prestigious honour after leading England during the impressive run during the World Cup last year, as well as winning the coveted golden boot.
The striker attended the Buckingham Palace ceremony with his fiancée Kate Goodland and his proud parents Kim and Patrick Kane.
The 25-year-old Tottenham striker was awarded an MBE for services to football and in recognition of England’s semi-final run at the 2018 World Cup in the Queen’s 2019 New Year Honours list.
During the World Cup Kane scored six goals and led England to the semi-final before they were kicked out by Croatia.
