Adesua Etomi-Wellington, wife of Nigerian singer, Banky W has been featured on the April 2019 Cover of the Vogue Magazine dubbed “A Celebration of Global Talent: 14 Countries, 14 Superstars”. Photography for the magazine was done by Mikael Jansson.
Adesua (in Erdem) featured on the cover alongside Lea Seydoux (in Louis Vuitton), Angelababy (in Dior), Elizabeth Debicki (in Maison Margiela).
Other famous women that were featured in the magazine are Scarlett Johansson, Vanessa Kirby, Doona Bae and Hera Hilmar.
“I feel like she’s my baby, and it’s my responsibility, along with a lot of other performers, to grow her,” says Etomi-Wellington, of Nollywood, Nigeria’s burgeoning film industry. She wears a flowing opera coat and floral dress by Richard Quinn.
Banky W who was excited by this went on Instagram to announce his wife’s feature on the cover of the Vogue Magazine.

You’re an incredible actor, and an even more incredible human being, and you deserve to shine so bright that the whole world has no choice but to see it. This is incredible. Thank you to @voguemagazine and glory to God. Ladies and gentlemen, Pls if you see me walking around with high shoulders today, you shld understand.”
