UG: Meet Bright Lambogang, The Ghana Rep For IFED Global.

Innovation for Empowerment and Development (IFED) is a youth empowerment organization dedicated to ensuring the involvement of the youth in everyday issues.

The Executive President of IFED global, Mr Tutu Acheampong, after a detailed background check of competence and experience, has appointed Mr Bright Lambongang as the country Representative for Ghana.

He therefore now has the mandate to represent Ghana in IFED organised programs in countries across the world if and when the need arises.

A major flagship event of the IFED is the International Youth Diplomacy Conference (IYDC).  An innovation of the model United Nations conference and a simulation of the United Nations general assembly.

The IYDC brings youth from across Africa and beyond to discuss essential global issues of world-wide interest. About a 1,000 youth leaders from 35 countries would converge in Accra at the University of Ghana, Legon from the 16th to 20th of July 2019. This year’s conference will be hinged on the theme, Diplomacy: Youth Empowerment for Sustainable Development.

With Ghana being the host country for IYDC this year, Mr Bright Lambongang now has the prestigious honour and responsibility to coordinate the day to day activities and to ensure that the 5-day conference goes perfectly.

He, also being the Public Relations Officer of the University Students Chamber Ghana(UNISC-Ghana), can boast of gaining the necessary experience and knowledge pertaining to issues relating to diplomacy.

His hard work eventually landed him the position as the President of the Association of Old Students of Prempeh College and Yaa Asantewaa in the University of Ghana. He is also the Organising Secretary for Jubilee and International Hall in the University of Ghana.

Let’s wish him good luck in his new position.
