Do we have to say anything? She’s such a strong force in the world of media and has dedicated so much time and effort into women empowerment as well. She speaks and the whole world stops to listen!!

Nana Aba Anamoah

She’s the president of the youth!! Aside from being a well-known TV personality and journalist, she’s such an influential voice on social media, openly fighting for the rights of young people and giving them a voice!

Juliet Bawuah

Juliet is a young woman who has carved a good name for herself, making a solid career for herself in a field that is predominantly filled with males: a sports journalist. She’s done high profile interviews, worked with a lot of media houses and has also been on the panel of many International sports awards

Jean Adukwei Mensah

She’s one of the women contributing to the growth of our country. She’s a lawyer and is also, currently, the chairman of the Electoral Commission of Ghana and before that, she was the executive chairman at the Institue of Economic Affairs (IEA).

Peace Hyde

Peace Hyde is another strong force to reckon with in the media space. She’s currently the West African correspondent for Forbes and is the founder of Aim High Africa, a non-profit organization which focuses on empowering unemployed youth in Africa to transform their passion into a business.

Charlotte Osei

She was the first female Electoral Commissioner of Ghana and saw to the successful run of the 2016 elections. She recently played a big role in the Nigerian elections as an international election observer for ECOWAS.

Gifty Anti

We do not have to talk about Gifty Anti too. Everyone knows and admires the strong woman who’s passionate about women’s rights. She hosts the Standpoint programme on GTV which discusses issues affecting women.

Gifty Osei Boakye Bingley

She’s a Communications and Strategy Executive who has led successful campaigns for multi-national companies. She’s currently the Director, Brand and Corporate Communications for AirtelTigo.

Beatrice Agyeman Abbey

She started as a Broadcast Journalist and News Anchor, became the Managing News Editor, later became the Chief Operating Officer of TV3, kept rising through the ranks till she landed her current position: The Group CEO Media General, owners of TV3, 3FM, Onua FM, Connect FM, APL and MG Digital.

Clearly, these aren’t the only amazing superwomen who give us life every day!! These aren’t the only women whose achievements give young girls everywhere in Ghana a role model to look up to. There are many more and we can’t mention all of them but…ayekoo to each and every one of them and we hope that they all keep up the amazing work!
