Jamaican Dancehall Artist Popcaan Remixes J Derobie’s “Poverty”


J Derobie burst onto the scene in the latter part of last year with what has now become a hit song called “Poverty.”

The Nungua based dancehall artiste gained prominence after he made it to the #Empawa100 list.

Since J Derobie, released his song as Mr Eazi’s emPawa artist, he has gone viral with many touting him as the next best thing to happen to Ghana’s dancehall scene.

Now J Derobie has left the shores of Africa and he is gaining attention in Jamaica, the world’s capital of dancehall.

Popcaan, the Jamaican dancehall artiste and the “Silence” hitmaker have also jumped onto J Derobie’s song.

Popcaan took to his IG stories to share a video of himself soaking “Poverty” and he dropped a few lines of his own onto the song.
