Legendary musician, Willie Roi has died.

Reports suggest that he died in his apartment near the Royal Richester Hotel at East Legon. He was found in the room with blooding oozing out of his mouth, sources say. The cause of his death is however not known.

Here are some great facts you need to know about the late Willie Roi:

Willie Roi was a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

He also worked as a sound engineer and a music producer. One of the notable songs he produced was Daddy Lumba’s “Aben Wo Ha”.

He has worked with famous African musicians like Sunny Ade, and Fela Kuti.

He has also done collaborations with legendary Ghanaian artistes like Paulina Oduro.

Some of his songs are “Mother Cry”, “Why Oh Why”, “Love Goes Around”, and “Aha Mpo Ni”.

He was the Artiste and Repertoire Manager at Zylofon Music before the company suspended operations after EOCO froze the assets of Nana Appiah Mensah.
