We have been championing Ghana to the world for years now and mostly it’s been sportsmen and women, musicians, intellectuals, actors and artists who are basically making us look good and show up on the world’s map.
Occasionally, fashion has helped us, but now the award-winning fashion designer, Elikem Kumordzie is making sure that fashion really helps to sell Ghana.
Just a couple of days ago, the Ghanaian capital, Accra debuted on number 62 on the latest fashion capital rankings.

In his own way, Elikem is making sure that Ghana is also known for its fashion success.
His self-named clothing line, Elikem Kumordzie has just gone on sale in Le BHV Marais, a department store which is conveniently located on Dubai’s City Walk, one of Dubai’s newest urban shopping precincts.
Le BHV is an elegant store which offers a wide range of fashion, beauty and homeware.
Now, Elikem’s clothing line joins the amazing fashion products they have on offer for sale.
As a stroke of good luck, Elikem got his first customer immediately after his line went up on sale.
A client purchased one of his shirts for AED or Arab Emirate Dirham 315 (GHS 451).
He has made clothes for both men and women which include some traditional Dubai wears with an infusion of African prints.
Congrats Elikem!!! On to the next!!!!
